22. Gideon’s Army

Poor, humble, and mighty. The story of Gideon teaches us the value of unreserved dedication and complete trust. How else could 300 men take out an army that were as “grasshoppers for multitude”?

Indeed, there is more to learn from these two chapters of Judges than history alone. Although 32,000 soldiers responded to Gideon’s call, less than 1% remained. This minute army bears a striking parallel to the 11th-hour workers; those whom the Lord calls to finish the gospel work at the very end of time.

The question is: Will your faith pass the test?
